  • What inspired me to become a Hepatitis Victoria volunteer

Over the years Hepatitis Victoria has become a big part of my life. I have contacted the organisation on so many occasions looking for accurate and up-to-date information and have never been disappointed. I’m a firm believer in giving back to the community and after all the support and care I had received I decided that Hepatitis Victoria was the ideal place to start giving back.

  • One of my favorite Hepatitis Victoria sessions or moments.

One of the sessions that surprised me was an informal session on International Women’s Day dealing with how the disease differed between the sexes, in terms of advancing liver disease, attitudes and issues.

  • What tips do I have for new volunteers

Don’t be shy to come forward! We all have a lot to offer and the more diversity we have with our volunteers the more we can represent the community Hepatitis Victoria serves.
